BestPathway is a comprehensive solution that combines the convenience of in-system clinical tools and the power of our external applications that interfaces with the clinical record, to provide the best-combined solution to solve local problems and optimise in-practice processes.

For NHS Organisations in England:

BestPathway is an accredited solution on the NHS England GPIT Futures central framework. Central funding, of the ongoing license fee that makes up the bulk of the costs, is available for the BestPathway solution for ICBs/ICSs, PCNs, and federations. This can be quite confusing, but we can help you navigate through the process of achieving central funding.

The cost of the annual license fee for the full BestPathway solution is charged at 23p per patient per annum, and can be centrally funded.

You will need to budget locally for deployment, training, and hosting.

BestPathway deployment costs £400 per practice and includes virtual training for the practice.

Additional virtual training, for new joiners or top-up training, can be purchased for £195. If you prefer on-site training for all or some of your practices, this is offered at £495 per day.

We also provide secure full-service hosting on HSCN, charged at up to £249.00 per practice per annum. This includes performance monitoring, licensing, backups, disaster recovery, and support.

For Commercial Organisations:

In many instances, commercial primary care organisations have similar; yet possibly reduced requirements compared to NHS organisations. To help our commercial partners achieve clinical and economic best practice, we have developed a number of solutions tailored to their needs.

As a result, we are able to offer very focussed solution-oriented packages, that start from as little as 15p per patient per annum. This package will give you access to a library of consultation templates, reports, protocols, managed referral forms, as well as a library of national content, all with the benefit of utilising the clinical system functionality and the benefits of remote authoring and content management.

The entry-level package includes 30 localised content initiatives to focus on solving key local challenges with a specific focus on driving return on investment.

Additional packages are available at 18p per patient and the full-service at 23p per patient, for those clients that are ready for a more extensive approach to implementing best practice.

What does DXS charge for training?

Initial training is included in the deployment fee, additional virtual training is offered at £195 per session, and on-site training is offered at £495 per day. We include a wealth of training videos and materials to support ongoing product knowledge and refreshers following the training session.

What does DXS charge for content and content changes?

A generous amount of bespoke content is provided in the packages offered to NHS and Commercial organisations, but should you need to purchase additional content, this can be costed as a bespoke project, purchased individually at £20 per item or added to the annual license to spread the cost.
